I love layering. I love a color wash and a tinted wax. I love sanding and buffing and dry brushing to give detail and dimension to my work. I love playing with products like Craqueleuer and Decoupage. However, I also love just painting and waxing and being done with something. Sometimes it’s nice to keep the finish simple. Soft and velvety with a coat of paint and a hand wax with a light wiping, no buffing. When doing so you have more creative freedom to play with other eleme
